& policies

The documents that govern our relationship. Written to be readable — not to bury you in clauses you'll never parse.

Last updated: 01 June 2026 · Version 2.1
This is an illustrative draft for design purposes. Not legal advice. LoreHub.ai will replace this with finalized, jurisdiction-appropriate terms before public launch.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LoreHub.ai ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LoreHub Ltd.

2. Your Account

Registration

You must create an account to access most Platform features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile information updated.

3. Intellectual Property

Your content

Your worlds, books, characters, and creative content remain yours. You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you create on the Platform. By publishing content to the Marketplace, you grant LoreHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the Platform.

AI-generated content

You own the output generated by the AI using your prompts, directives, and world context, subject to applicable law in your jurisdiction regarding AI-generated works. LoreHub does not claim ownership of generated output.

No training on your content

We do not use your private world content, books, or characters to train AI models. Published, public content on the Marketplace may be used for Platform improvement with appropriate anonymization, subject to your privacy settings.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Generate content that depicts minors in sexual situations
  • Create content designed to harass, stalk, or threaten real individuals
  • Produce synthetic disinformation intended to deceive at scale
  • Circumvent or reverse-engineer Platform security measures
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest Platform content at scale without permission
  • Resell API access or automated generation services to third parties

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Wallet top-ups are non-refundable and carry forward indefinitely.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, you retain the right to export your content for 30 days following notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." LoreHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our maximum aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer resident in the EU, in which case the mandatory laws of your country of residence also apply.

9. Changes to Terms

We will notify active subscribers of material changes to these Terms at least 14 days in advance via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Illustrative draft. Final AUP will be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines what you may and may not use LoreHub.ai to create. It exists to protect authors, readers, and the platform — and to ensure LoreHub remains a place where serious fiction can thrive.

2. What You May Create

LoreHub is designed for fiction: novels, novellas, short story collections, and serial fiction across any genre — fantasy, science fiction, romance, horror, literary fiction, historical, thriller, and more.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not use LoreHub to generate or distribute:

  • Sexual content involving minors. This is an absolute prohibition with no exceptions. Accounts generating such content are permanently banned and reported to relevant authorities.
  • Targeted harassment. Content designed to harass, threaten, or stalk specific real individuals.
  • Synthetic disinformation. AI-generated content designed to deceive at scale — fabricated news, forged quotes attributed to real people, synthetic propaganda.
  • Incitement to violence. Content explicitly designed to incite real-world violence against individuals or groups.
  • Privacy violations. Content that exposes private information about real individuals without their consent.

4. Content Involving Real People

Fictionalized portrayals of real people are a long literary tradition. Satire, historical fiction, and fan fiction all have their place. However, you may not create content that is defamatory or designed to be mistaken for real statements or events.

5. Reporting Violations

To report content that violates this policy, email [email protected] or use the report function on any published world. We investigate all reports and respond within 5 business days.

Last updated: 01 June 2026 · Version 1.0
Illustrative draft. Final DMCA policy will be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.

1. Our Commitment

LoreHub.ai respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. We respond promptly to properly filed copyright infringement notices.

2. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on LoreHub.ai infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature (or that of your authorised agent)
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
  • The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content on LoreHub.ai
  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address)
  • A statement of good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or their authorised agent

We will process valid notices and remove or disable access to the infringing content within a reasonable time, typically within 5 business days.

3. Counter-Notice

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected]. We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant and, absent legal action within 10 business days, restore the content.

4. Repeat Infringers

LoreHub operates a policy of terminating accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Multiple valid takedown notices against a single account will result in review and potential permanent suspension.

5. AI-Generated Content & Copyright

The copyright status of AI-generated content is evolving across jurisdictions. LoreHub does not claim copyright in outputs generated by the AI from your prompts. We recommend seeking legal advice if you intend to commercially exploit AI-generated content at scale.

Last updated: 01 June 2026 · Version 1.0
Illustrative draft. Final refund policy will be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.

1. General Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you cancel a subscription, you retain access to your current plan until the end of the paid billing period; no partial-period refund is issued.

2. EU / UK Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from a new subscription purchase. This period begins on the date of purchase. To exercise it, contact [email protected] within 14 days with the subject line "Right of Withdrawal." We will issue a full refund within 14 days. If you have already generated content during the cooling-off period, we may deduct a prorated amount reflecting services consumed.

3. Wallet Credits

Wallet credits are non-refundable once purchased. They carry forward indefinitely while your account is active. Unused Wallet credits are forfeited on account deletion.

4. Service Credits

If LoreHub experiences a verified service outage exceeding 48 consecutive hours affecting your account, we may, at our discretion, issue account credits (not cash refunds) proportional to the time affected.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

We consider refund requests in exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis — for example, accidental duplicate purchases or billing errors. Contact [email protected] with your account email and transaction reference. We will respond within 5 business days.
