§ feat · 01prompt engine

A prompt engine you can
actually steer.

Not a chat window. A structured context machine that injects your world, your book, and your scene directives — automatically, every time.

The sound reached her before the shape did — low, almost patient, the kind of creak that belongs to a building settling into old age

How it works

the engine
§ 01 · context injection

Your world, always in the room.

Every generation call automatically assembles a layered context: the world's rules and lore, the book's characters and arc, the chapter's position in the story. You don't paste this in — the engine builds it from your entity library.

Characters are referenced by ID: the engine knows their voice, their goals, their relationships. Locations carry their atmosphere. Factions carry their ideology. Nothing contradicts anything else.

§ 02 · scene directives

Steer the scene, not the sentence.

Instead of writing micro-prompts, you work at the scene level. Tell the engine what beat you're at, which characters must appear, what the scene must open on, what mood to build toward. The prose is generated; the architecture is yours.

Directives are saved and versioned per chapter. Regenerate with a different open or a shifted tone — the engine respects your constraints each time.

§ directiveopen_onSpecify the first sensory detail the scene opens on
§ directivetoneNamed mood arc: "dread building", "relief collapsing"
§ directivemust_includePeople, objects, or beats that must appear
§ directivemust_avoidTropes, words, or resolutions to exclude
§ directiveclose_onThe final image, line, or unanswered question
§ directivepov_stateCharacter's emotional and physical state at scene start
§ 03 · pattern library

Structural templates that actually work.

The Pattern Library is a curated set of narrative structures — scene shapes, chapter arcs, genre conventions — that you can apply as a base template before adding your own directives.

Patterns are community-contributed and rated. Browse by genre, beat type, or word count. Apply a pattern, override what you want, and generate. Patterns are the scaffolding; your world provides the weight.
