Acceptable Use

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines what you may and may not use LoreHub.ai to create. It exists to protect authors, readers, and the platform — and to ensure LoreHub remains a place where serious fiction can thrive.

2. What You May Create

LoreHub is designed for fiction: novels, novellas, short story collections, and serial fiction across any genre — fantasy, science fiction, romance, horror, literary fiction, historical, thriller, and more.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not use LoreHub to generate or distribute:

• Sexual content involving minors. This is an absolute prohibition with no exceptions. We remove the material and retain what we need to; the account may be closed, and we cooperate with law enforcement where required.
• Targeted harassment. Content designed to harass, threaten, or stalk specific real individuals.
• Synthetic disinformation. AI-generated content designed to deceive at scale — fabricated news, forged quotes attributed to real people, synthetic propaganda.
• Incitement to violence. Content explicitly designed to incite real-world violence against individuals or groups.
• Privacy violations. Content that exposes private information about real individuals without their consent.

Adult content

Books carry a content rating: Teen (13+), Mature (16+) or Adult (18+) — see our Terms of Service for the full definitions. Adult titles containing explicit sexual content are hosted free to read: we set no price on them, and we keep them out of recommendations, the featured and trending rails, paid promotion, and the sitemap we submit to search engines. Sexual content involving anyone who is or appears to be under 18, and non-consensual sexual content presented approvingly, are prohibited outright, whatever rating is declared: we sample uploaded and imported text for both and instruct our generation models not to produce either, and we remove a book we find in either category and may close the account.

4. Content Involving Real People

Fictionalized portrayals of real people are a long literary tradition. Satire, historical fiction, and fan fiction all have their place. However, you may not create content that is defamatory or designed to be mistaken for real statements or events.

5. Uploaded & Imported Content

When you upload or import content — for example through the book import feature — you must hold all rights necessary to do so. At the point of import you are asked to attest an honest legal basis for the upload:

• Author — you wrote it or otherwise own the rights.
• Public domain — the work is genuinely out of copyright.
• Personal use — you are making a permitted personal use of a work you lawfully hold.

You may not upload content that infringes anyone's copyright or other rights, or that is otherwise unlawful. Uploaded content remains yours; how it is treated is set out in our Content & IP Policy. Uploading infringing material may result in removal, account review, and termination.

6. Reporting Violations

To report content that violates this policy, email [email protected] or use the report function on any published world. We investigate all reports and respond within 5 business days.
