Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LoreHub.ai ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Twilight Works Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 17373842), whose registered office is at Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU, United Kingdom.

2. Your Account

Registration

You must create an account to access most Platform features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account.

Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

3. Intellectual Property

LoreHub treats content you generate on the Platform very differently from content you upload or import. This section summarises the position; our Content & IP Policy sets it out in full and forms part of these Terms.

Content you generate

Worlds, books, chapters, characters, and illustrated content the Platform generates are, to the fullest extent that any rights subsist in them, owned by Twilight Works Ltd. Under the law of England and Wales, a computer-generated work is authored by the person who made the arrangements necessary to create it — here, the Platform. Generated content is a Platform asset; you do not acquire ownership of it by creating, paying for, or exporting it.

Your licence to use it

In return, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read, download, export, and enjoy your generated content for your own personal, non-commercial use, and to publish it within the Marketplace under the Platform rules. You may not resell it, commercially exploit it, republish it off the Platform as your own, sub-license it, or use it to train any AI model. Consumers keep the core benefit they paid for: reading, downloading, and keeping personal copies of what they generate.

Content you upload or import

Content you upload or import stays yours. You grant us the licence we need to store, process, and display it and to power the features you use, and you confirm that you hold the necessary rights and have chosen an honest legal basis (author, public domain, or permitted personal use). You are responsible for what you upload.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Platform to:

• Generate or distribute sexual content involving minors
• Create content designed to harass, stalk, or threaten real individuals
• Produce synthetic disinformation intended to deceive at scale
• Upload content you do not hold the rights to, or that is otherwise unlawful
• Circumvent or reverse-engineer Platform security measures
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest Platform content at scale without permission
• Resell API access or automated generation services to third parties

5. Subscriptions, Tokens & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly and include a monthly token allowance. Tokens are the Platform's internal unit for paid features such as generation and unlocking chapters; they are not money, have no cash value, and are not redeemable for cash. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Any tokens you earn as an author — through royalties, tips, or patronage — are paid in tokens within a closed loop, never as cash. LoreHub does not make cash payouts to authors. Full details are in our Supporter & Token Terms and Refund Policy.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone, so export anything you wish to keep before you delete. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Remaining tokens are forfeited and have no cash value.

7. AI Output & No Warranty

The Platform relies on third-party AI providers. Generated output may be similar to output produced for other users, is not guaranteed to be unique, accurate, lawful in your intended use, or error-free, and must not be relied on as professional advice. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available".

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Twilight Works Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, and our maximum aggregate liability to you will not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in the EU, the mandatory laws of your country of residence also apply.

10. Changes to Terms

We will notify active subscribers of material changes to these Terms at least 14 days in advance by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We keep these documents under review and recommend you take independent legal advice on any that affect you.
