1. Our Commitment

LoreHub.ai respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the EU Digital Services Act and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. A person reviews every valid notice, and we act on it within 2 business days of receiving it, whether it reaches us through the form below or by email.

3. Filing a Takedown Notice

The form below collects everything a valid notice must contain. You may list up to 500 locations in one notice.

You may instead email your notice to [email protected]. We record an emailed notice in the same way, open the same case, and count the 2 business days from the day your email arrived. It must contain everything the form asks for, including both statements and your signature; an email without them is not a valid notice.

4. Counter-Notice

If your book was taken down and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can answer the takedown with a counter-notice. There are two ways to send one.

• Online. Sign in with the account that uploaded the book and open your counter-notices. The page lists each of your books that has been taken down, identifies the removed material for you, and asks for everything else listed here.
• By email to [email protected]. The email must identify the removed material and where it appeared, give your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address, carry your physical or electronic signature, and make the three statements below. We handle an emailed counter-notice in the same way as one sent online, and count from the day your email arrived.

The three statements a counter-notice must make, word for word:

• I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
• I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located or, if my address is outside the United States, of the courts of England and Wales.
• I will accept service of process from the person who provided the copyright notice, or from an agent of that person.

We send a copy of your counter-notice, including your name, address and telephone number, to the person who filed the copyright notice. We then restore the book no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we received your counter-notice, unless, before it is restored, the person who filed the notice tells us they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from the activity their notice complains of. If they do, the book stays down until that is resolved.

A restored book returns to the state it was in when it was taken down, so a draft comes back as a draft. It is not made public again while a restriction unrelated to the notice still applies to it, for example while your account is barred under section 5.

If a book was removed by our own checks rather than on a notice from a rights holder, there is nobody to forward a counter-notice to and no statutory waiting period. A member of staff reviews your counter-notice instead, and either reverses the removal or keeps it.

5. Repeat Infringers

Every takedown is recorded, with its date, against the account that uploaded the book. A takedown made on a notice from a rights holder counts as a strike; a removal made by our own checks, with no third-party notice, is recorded but does not count. An account that reaches three strikes within twelve months has all of its uploaded books unpublished, loses the ability to upload, and is reviewed by a person for permanent termination; nobody is terminated automatically. A strike stops counting if the book is restored after an uncontested counter-notice, or if we reverse the takedown as our own error.

6. Scope: third-party and uploaded content

This policy governs complaints that content on LoreHub infringes someone else's copyright. In practice that mainly concerns content users upload or import, and content published to the Marketplace. Content the Platform generates is owned by LoreHub — see our Content & IP Policy. If you upload or import content, you are responsible for holding the necessary rights; uploading infringing material is a breach of our Terms and may lead to removal and account termination.
